We built this course to show you examples of the various features that your online course could include. Rather than use dummy content, we decided to compile a course full of information that would make you smile.
Below is your very first tip box! These are scattered throughout our course to give you handy tips for your own online course. Be sure to read them all to get the most out of this demo.

Placing your website on a subdomain, in our case course.pomegranite.co.za, not only helps others easily identify your course, but it also helps manage site speed.
Our online course is free for anyone to use, but in order to experience the full functionality, you need to register. You can choose whether to make your course open to anyone (with or without registration), closed (with registration by invitation) or you can charge a registration fee (using WooCommerce).
LearnDash, the learning management system that we use for developing online courses on WordPress websites, breaks course content into two types of pages: modules and sessions. Modules can be made up of one or several session pages, but getting this division and categorising correct is key to a user-friendly online course.

Videos are a great way to show your users how the course will work and how to navigate through it. Screen recordings with narration, which you can easily do over Zoom, are an affordable way to create these.

The summary of course content below is available on the landing page of each course. It gives the user a sense of what they’re going to learn in each module and an easy way to go directly to later modules.
